Hi, I’m Becky!
I’m a Registered Nurse with over 14 years of experience, and for the past 11 years I’ve specialized in Advanced Medical Foot Care. I first got into foot care after seeing just how important this service is—and how many people in Ottawa were struggling without access to it. That need has only grown over the years, and it inspired me to build a practice focused on compassionate, professional, and reliable care.
In 2019, I founded Becky’s Medical Foot Care as a mobile service, travelling across Ottawa to bring care directly to people in their homes. In 2025, I expanded into a clinic setting at Queensway Medical Centre, allowing me to reach and support even more clients as Becky & Co. Medical Foot Care.
From routine nail and skin care to diabetic foot assessments and advanced treatments like ingrown toenail bracing, my goal is always the same: to keep your feet healthy, comfortable, and pain-free—wherever you receive care.
Beyond my practice, I’m passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of foot care nurses, helping to grow Ottawa’s foot care workforce and make this essential service accessible to more people.

Gracielyn Couture, RN
Registered Nurse
Advanced Foot Care Nurse
EnglishHi, I’m Gracielyn. I am a Registered Nurse with 5 years experience. I have worked in Alberta, Nova Scotia, and now Ottawa. Being a Military family we have moved around a bit.
My experience is in long term care, and various operating rooms. My first experiences with foot care started during my 3 years in long term care. I was shocked at how many of the residents were struggling with foot health. I remember realizing the demand, when I asked the team of care aides to compile a list of the residents who needed nail trims. Out of 31 residents I was handed a list of 27 people.
Working in pediatrics while taking my foot care education, I often noticed many children coming in with ingrown toe nails, thickened nails, overgrown nails, calluses, and corns. This is when I realized the true demand for medical foot care for all ages.
I believe in holistic health care and helping all people I encounter reach a higher level of health through education. I am excited to get to chat with you and help you with your foot care needs. My goal is to help in an area of high demand and make a difference in the community.

I graduated from the Certified Nursing Assistant program from Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST) in Regina in 1983. I worked for a few years on Neurology/Neurosurgery at the Plains Health Centre then completed the Diploma Nursing program at SIAST in Regina in 1986, this gave me my RN. Over the years I’ve worked in different Intensive Care Units, Post Anesthesia Recovery Units and Constant Observation Units. I worked for 17 years at Moose Jaw Home Care (MJHC) in Saskatchewan, this was where I found a passion for wound care. I completed a course from Grant MacEwan University: Management of Acute and Chronic Wounds in 2012 while working part time for MJHC. I also completed my Bachelor in Nursing in 2019 from Athabasca University while continuing to work part time.I moved to Ottawa in October 2019 and took an Advanced Diabetic Foot Care Course. I started down this path in February 2020 and have thoroughly enjoyed this new role. I hope to be able to work part-time for many years as I enjoy caring for others as a foot care nurse. My husband of 31 years died from ALS in May 2018, from this union I have 4 wonderful children, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Now I enjoy walking, cycling, x-country skiing and swimming with my boyfriend. I return regularly to Saskatchewan to visit family and friends and loved ones, and I’ve started to travel a little.

French/English
Hi, I am Jasmine!I am a Registered Nurse with over 16 years of experience. I obtained my nursing degrees in the United States, where I worked for over 7 years, before moving to Ottawa in 2015.
I have an extended experience working in hospitals, home care, long-term care and clinic settings. While working in the clinic for the last 7 years, I encountered many patients with different foot conditions requiring foot care. I decided to take the Advanced Foot Care Course, where I fully grasped the need for this service in the general population.
I have come to discover that many of us neglect or are unable to properly care for our feet and this can have a devastating effect on our lives. My goal is to help you maintain and improve the health of your foot so that you can continue to enjoy your life to the fullest.
Providing excellent, compassionate and personalized care to every person I encounter has been my motto throughout my career; and this is something that I am eager to bring to foot care as well. I look forward to taking great care of your feet and keeping them always Happy!

Shania Sahadeo
Administrative Assistant
EnglishHi, I'm Shania.
I've been a part of the team at Queensway Medical Centre for 4 years now. I've been working as an administrative assistant for the family physicians at the office, and I've just recently joined Becky and Co.'s team.
I studied for 2 years at the University of Ottawa from 2017-2019 and completed my undergraduate studies at York University from 2020-2021. I currently have an Honours Bachelor in Psychology and I am pursuing my Master's Degree in Social Work. I grew up in the Greater Toronto Area but after going to school in Ottawa, I enjoyed the city so much that I decided to make it my home in 2021.
I am very excited to start working with the foot care nurses as their administrative assistant. It has been great watching Becky and Co.'s business expand over the months that they have been working out of our office. I had no idea how much of a demand there was for these services until I met Becky and saw how fast the business started growing.
I have already learned so much from Becky and Co. and I look forward to learning more as I continue to work with the team.
